How to play Soccer 4
Soccer 4 is another one of the Tabonline pools and provides punters with a massive test of skill, luck and soccer knowledge.
The odds are also high and this means substantial wins. As the name suggests, this bet slip is made up of four selected matches – normally English Premiership – and there are six betting options for each game.
This multibet is a mixed version of the soccer 1 and the more traditional soccer 6 pool.
Punters must predict the correct results of four games, with each match having one of six options.
Like all the soccer pools betting across the world, punters must remember that matches are calculated at 90 minutes. This means extra-time or penalty results are not paid out in this format, with the end result only being the one after the referee blows for full-time.
In each match one team will be designated Team A and another Team B. This means no home or away status must be applied. M1 will denote Match 1, M2 match 2 and so forth until the fourth one is reached.
The Soccer 4 result options available to the punter for each individual match are as follows:
Team A win by difference of only one goal (1-0, 3-2, 4-3, 5-4, 6-5 etc)
Team A win by a difference of two goals or more (2-0, 3-1, 4-0, 5-1 etc)
No-score draw (0-0)
Score draw (1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4 etc)
Team B win by difference of only one goal (1-0, 3-2, 4-3, 5-4, 6-5 etc)
Team B win by a difference of two goals or more (2-0, 3-1, 4-0, 5-1 etc)
Punters must take into consideration that unlike other jackpot bets, there is only a Team A and B and thus homework is necessary on checking if it is a home match or away match as this often as a bearing on the result and score.
Also, with four matches and six options per match, the chances of winning this is very low so the odds will be sky-high.
The cost of the bet is the same as in soccer 1, and the minimum bet amount is R6 a single entry, and the cost of a multiple entry is R6 per combination. The way to calculate a multi-bet in this option is much as like soccer 6 – total the number of predictions in each of the four matches and multiply them out. Then times that total by 6 to get the bet-total.
An example will be: If a punter chooses two options per game – 2x2x2x2=16. Then times that by 6 and the total bet will be R96. This is for choosing two options out of six on each of the four matches.
A further example of a mixed bet will be – in M1 (Match 1) the punter chooses 3 options, 2 more options in Match 2, 4 options in match 3 and 1 in Match 4. This calculation will now look like 3x2x4x1=24 x by six – total bet of R144.
How to play soccer 6
The soccer 6 pool is when a punter places a wager on six scheduled soccer matches (normally South African Premier Soccer League, English Premier League but also sometimes from the bigger European leagues). There are only three bet choices available one each game. Home (H), draw (X) or away (away). We also have a detailed article on how to play soccer pools.
H means the home team, draw is represented by X and A means the away team.
For example the first game of the selected 6 will be Manchester City vs Liverpool. The match is played at the venue of the team so it is written first and in this case Manchester City is the H team and Liverpool the A team. If the punter thinks the game will end in a stalemate then they must mark with an X.
M1 will denote Match One, M2 match 2 and so forth until the sixth one is reached.
An example bet will look like – in M1 (Match 1) the punter chooses 3 options, 2 more options in (Match 2), 3 options in match 3, 2 in (Match 4), 1 in (Match 5) and 1 in (Match 6). This calculation will now look like 3x2x3x2x1x1=24 times by six – total bet of R216.
The soccer 6 offers pools on most days, but the midweek and weekend ones are the most popular dates to play.
How to play soccer 10
The punter places a wager on 10 scheduled soccer matches with three bet choices available on each game. Home (H), draw (X) or away (away).
H means the home team, draw is represented by X and A means the away team.
For example Manchester United is playing Everton in one of the games on the list. The match is played at the venue of the team written first and in this case Manchester United is the H team and Everton the away team. A predicted draw is marked by an X.
M1 will denote Match One, M2 match 2 and so forth until the tenth one is reached.
The minimum bet is R2 and this is for selecting one option on all ten games. By choosing only one prediction per game means the ticket will cost a mere R2.
An example where the punter uses more options to make a bet will be: If a punter chooses two options per game – 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2 – R 2028. Then times that by 2 and the total bet will be R4056. This is for choosing two options out of ten matches on the bet slip.
A further example of a mixed bet will be – 1x1x2x1x1x3x2x3x2x1 = R72 x by 2 – total bet of 144.
The Most Common Soccer Betting Mistakes to Avoid
When it comes to sports betting, you can try your hardest to make the best bet. But, in the end, betting is a game of chance in which anything can happen. Sometimes you win, other times, you lose. What matters most is that you don't jeopardise your chances of winning by making careless mistakes. We’ll be discussing some of the most common soccer betting mistakes that punters make, as well as our expert advice on how to avoid them.
Chasing Losses
Chasing losses entails placing sports bets to compensate for lost funds. Even though it is discouraged, this is a common occurrence among bettors. Chasing your losses will almost always result in more losses. Instead of betting to make up for lost money, consider devising betting strategies to increase your chances of winning.
Betting Blindly
Betting blind refers to placing bets without conducting any research. It is a minor mistake that can cost you a lot of money. Therefore, we advise you to conduct proper research before adding a selection to a bet slip.
Unrealistic Expectations
